    Warm up those turkey legs; SVdP NKY’s 17th Annual Turkeyfoot Trot is November 23

    It’s time to lace up your running shoes for a great cause helping local families. St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky (SVdP NKY) is hosting its 17th Annual Turkeyfoot Trot 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 23.

    The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m. on the campus of Thomas More University in Crestview Hills.

    All proceeds from the event support St. Vincent de Paul’s outreach, which serves our neighbors in need by providing food, rent/utility assistance, clothing, and more.

    New this year, check-in for the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Thomas More University’s Academic Center building.

    A free Kid’s Fun Run for children 10 and under will take place after the race, along with refreshments and door prizes. Awards will be given to the division winners and overall winners.

    Registration is available online through race day at svdpnky.org .

    Pre-registration is currently open and is available through Nov. 22 for a reduced price of $25. Registration fees include chip timing, race awards, door prizes, and refreshments.

    Early check-in and packet pick-up is available on Thursday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, November 22 from 10: a.m.to 6 p.m., at Tri-State Running Company (148 Barnwood Drive) in Edgewood.
