    2 arrested after July 4 celebratory gunfire hits Summit County home

    NORTHFIELD CENTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – Two men face charges after celebratory gunfire struck a Summit County home on the Fourth of July, investigators say.

    The Summit County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home on Valley View Road in Northfield Center Township after a caller said it was hit by gunfire on Thursday.

    When deputies arrived, they found that three rounds “penetrated the exterior of the residence,” according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

    During the investigation, sheriff’s deputies arrested two men, 22-year-old Brandon Drazil and 20-year-old Maxwell Tedor.

    Both men are accused of firing 30 to 50 rounds during the celebration, according to the sheriff’s office.

    Drazil and Tedor are each charged with discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises and criminal damaging. They were taken to the Summit County Jail.
