May 11
• A bicycle reportedly was stolen from Homer’s Ice Cream in the 1200 block of Green Bay Road. Police arrested an individual for the theft a short time later in Northfield.
May 10
• A bank account reportedly was created using a resident’s personal information and $12,000 was withdrawn.
May 9
• A credit card reportedly was stolen from a car in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.
May 8
• A driver’s license and credit card reportedly were stolen overnight from a car in the 300 block of 4th Street.
May 6
• A tablet and wallet reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Ridge Road.
• A resident reportedly was scammed out of $400 in gift cards after responding to a text message from someone purporting to be the resident’s boss and requesting the gift card information.
• More than $2,000 worth of cosmetics reportedly were stolen from CVS, 1515 Sheridan Road.
WINNETKA
May 10
• More than $500 in items reportedly were stolen from The Grand Food Center, 606 Green Bay Road.
GLENCOE
May 2
• A window reportedly was smashed out in a car at Mini of Glencoe North Shore, 2100 Frontage Road.
HIGHLAND PARK
May 11
• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen from the 1800 block of Cavell Avenue. The car reportedly had a spare key inside.
• A credit card and charging cable reportedly were stolen from a car between May 9-11 in the 300 block of University Avenue.
May 8
• Cosmetics reportedly were stolen from Walgreens, 632 Roger Williams Avenue.
May 1
• Two jet skis and a trailer reportedly were stolen from a gated area at the Park Avenue Boating Ramp, 31 Park Ave. It is the second incident in one week, as two jet skis and a trailer reportedly were stolen from the same location on April 27.
