Vehicle vs. tractor collision on Route 10 in Northfield

NORTHFIELD, Mass. — Emergency services were called to a collision on Route 10 after receiving a report from the Bernardston Police Department of an accident involving a vehicle and a tractor.

The incident occurred when the operator of the tractor was thrown from the vehicle upon impact.

Emergency responders from Northfield, along with support from Bernardston and Gill Police Departments, arrived at the scene to provide immediate assistance. The tractor operator, despite being ejected from the vehicle, sustained injuries that are currently believed to be non-life-threatening.

The Northfield Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved.
