Northfield Hospital Foundation receives donation from DJJD committee
On Friday, Dec. 8, the Defeat of Jesse James Days (DJJD) Committee presented a $6,000 donation to the Northfield Hospital Foundation. The donation is designated to the Northfield Hospital Breast Care Center and the Northfield Hospital Cancer Care & Infusion Center. Rice County finalizes near-7% levy hike
In 2024, Rice County property owners will give $10 million more than last year to the Sheriff’s Office and jail fund, though part of that is due to an accounting shift. Most of the money is to pay staff. Those two funds make up nearly a third of the Rice County 2024 tax levy collections, which was finalized by the Rice County Board of Commissioners Tuesday morning.
