Dundas city water tower out of service on Sept. 29
City of Dundas crews are taking one water tower out of service for repair and maintenance on Thursday, September 29. We expect the water tower to be out of service for two or three days. We ask all residents to conserve their water use by reducing baths and showers, reducing the use of washing machines, and stopping all outside watering. The City will post a notice on this website (www.cityofdundas.org) when the tower is back in service and regular water use can resume.

Raiders soccer waged a penalty filled 0-0 battle in regulation Tuesday night against Austin, then traded scores in a frenzied OT period to take a 2-1 win. Northfield co-captain, senior Pablo Orrego Zapata scored the first goal in the first of two overtime periods, with 2:08 left. Austin answered quickly, with a goal by senior Emiliano Hernandez with 1:33 left. With under a minute left in the first OT period, Will Knutson stole a Packers pass near midfield and drove to the front of the net, stopped the ball, as one defender fell, and passed the ball to co-captain Leo Runestad, who beat the goalie and sent home the winning goal. A few thousand people enjoyed the outdoors in Northfield on a beautiful day Saturday for the Hispanic Heritage Celebration. Local schools target ways to increase student engagement post-pandemic
Two and a half years after long standing routines and carefully honed teaching and student engagement practices were turned upside down, local school districts are working to help bring their students back to pre-pandemic levels of class focus and extracurricular commitments.
