This article was produced as part of JTA’s Teen Journalism Fellowship, a program that works with Jewish teens around the world to report on issues that affect their lives. This summer, I will be a counselor at the camp I’ve attended for the last eight years. It’s where I formed my Jewish identity and my love for the community that Jewish values foster. Camp is also where I became acquainted with different opinions on Israel, from Israelis, former IDF soldiers and Jewish day school attendees to American Jews who grew up without a Zionist perspective at the forefront of their education.
Men’s Soccer Announces Addition of Reed Cash to Roster
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of freshman midfielder Reed Cash (Hampton Falls, N.H.). "Reed is one of two New Hampshire players joining the program this fall," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He plays for Seacoast United in the MLS Next and attended the Center for Excellence as he pushes to get the best out of himself. He's athletic and versatile and we feel he possesses the right mentality to be a Wildcat."

Planned construction work to replace two aging bridges that connect to Cape Cod will create more than 9,000 “high-quality” jobs in Massachusetts, Gov. Maura Healey said Tuesday. Healey and lawmakers gathered in Bourne to formally celebrate the nearly $1 billion in added federal funding for the replacement of the Sagamore Bridge on Cape Cod. Work on the Bourne Bridge is slated to happen after the Sagamore. The recent announcement brings the total funding for the massive bridge project to $1.72 billion, in addition to $700 million in state funding, Healey said. The $993 million awarded to the state Department of Transportation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Bridge Investment Program, Healey said.
