Philadelphia 'wild west gun battle' leaves 3 dead, 6 injured in block party mass shooting
A shooting during a Philadelphia block party has left three dead and six injured, including a 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man who were found dead at the scene. A third, 29-year-old man was pronounced dead an hour later at the hospital after he was shot in the stomach. Police say that the last man may have been targetted, as he was shot at point-blank range at the party.
Penn State raises their tuition for the 2025-2026 semester
Penn State announced that they will raise their in-state tuition by 2% at their University Park campus for the 2025-2026 semester. The new tuition also includes a 4% increase for out-of-state undergraduate and graduate students. LEMOYNE, PA — Pennsylvania’s median home sales price has risen for the fifth month in a row, according to a report for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors®. In June, the median price climbed nearly 6% to $312,000, up from $295,000 in May. This marks a nearly 6% increase compared to June 2023.

BELMAR, NJ — At the upcoming council meeting on Tuesday, July 23, the Borough of Belmar will consider a pivotal resolution to approve proposed settlement agreements with multiple developers (As of 9pm on Sunday, the resolution itself was not available on the borough website where the other resolutions are posted). This situation arises from a lawsuit initiated by the borough in March 2023.
