Wayne Newton tour stopping in NE Ohio

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton himself, is heading to Northeast Ohio this fall.

The performer and actor will bring the Up Close and Personal Tour to MGM Northfield Park on Saturday, Oct. 12.

According to a release from Live Nation , presale tickets will be available Thursday by using the code: STRUM. Tickets go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. Friday.

Newton is best-known for songs including “Danke Schoen,” “Daddy, Don’t You Walk So Fast,” “At this Moment” and “Summer Wind.” He has recorded and released 165 albums and has performed in front of more than 40 million people, according to the release.

He can play 13 instruments.

He also appeared on shots including “Bonanza” and “The Lucy Show,” along with “Vegas Vacation.”
