Loveland Man Arrested for 23 Burglary and Theft Charges
A Loveland area man has been arrested on 23 burglary and theft charges. Beginning in September of 2023, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a jet ski theft in the south Loveland area. Over several months, we received additional reports of other thefts in the Berthoud and south Loveland areas. These thefts occurred primarily at businesses and construction sites in the area.

Arrest Made in Connection with Windsor Motorcycle Accident
The Windsor Police Department has arrested someone in connection with an early April motorcycle crash on Garden Dr. in Windsor that left two people injured. On April 24, 2024, 21-year-old Caleb Kirlin turned himself in on charges stemming from the crash that resulted in him and a 27-year-old female passenger being transported to the hospital. USDA Confirms Detection of Avian Influenza in Dairy Cattle in Colorado
Broomfield, Colo. — Recently, the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) confirmed a detection of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in dairy cows in Northeast Colorado. This is the first detection of avian influenza diagnosed in cattle in Colorado. Detections of HPAI in dairy cattle have occurred in eight other states.
