Denver Union Station construction is wrapping up. Here’s what we know about the reopening
If you've been to Denver Union Station since winter, you've been greeted by construction noises, giant walls and very little breathing room. Union Station is one more iconic Denver landmark, along with the 16th Street Mall and Denver International Airport, where swaths of sort-of public space have been shuttered for extensive redevelopment.

Avs should continue to try to trade Valeri Nichushkin this summer
The Colorado Avalanche have forward Valeri Nichushkin under contract for the next six years. Let’s hope that isn’t the case in the next six weeks. As free agency opened in the NHL on Monday, there was some good news and then a bunch of small moves from Colorado. The team re-signed Jonathan Drouin at just $2.5 million, a great job negotiating by Avalanche GM Chris MacFarland. That was a win for the club, but then a bunch of underwhelming signings happened.
Cowboys Could Trade CeeDee Lamb to Broncos in Worst-Case Scenario
Chatter around CeeDee Lamb’s future has surged recently, and the Dallas Cowboys WR could end up being traded if talks break down. While there are no legitimate reports stating that Lamb wants a trade, Dallas only has the 25-year-old under contract through the 2024 season. In terms of prospective...

Reports: Avs get a deal done to bring key forward back to Colorado
The Colorado Avalanche had one huge priority left in free agency, and it sounds like Avs GM Chris MacFarland got it done. According to multiple reports, forward Jonathan Drouin is returning to Colorado on a one-year deal. Free agency opened with Drouin receiving interest from the likes of Boston, St. Louis and the New York Rangers, but ultimately he decided to come back to Denver.
Broncos making one more free agent signing could push team into playoff status
The Denver Broncos have a solid roster, no matter how many major outlets say otherwise, and they could be one free agent signing away from being a playoff team. It's hard to not see the upgrades that this team made in the 2024 NFL Offseason, and this incudes the QB positon. It's also not out of the question for Bo Nix to not only win the starting job, but manage the offense well enough in year one to keep Denver in the playoff hunt.
Broncos WR contemplating training camp holdout
The former Pro Bowler confirmed earlier this month that he and the team are at a standstill with respect to negotiations on a new pact. Two years remain on Sutton’s contract, with $2M of his 2024 base salary guaranteed. He is open to an adjustment to the deal consisting of new compensation — as opposed to an extension — but it remains to be seen if the Broncos will accommodate that wish.
Red Fox Recovering in Colorado After Being Shot By An Arrow
A resilient Red Fox is on the road to recovery after surviving a heartbreaking incident last week. Officers acted quickly and were able to safely contain the injured animal.
