CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police are looking for a group of thieves who broke into three West Side businesses and stole ATMs.The burglaries happened in the Austin and West Garfield Park neighborhoods during the evening and early morning hours, with the latest happening on Wednesday. Steve Grzanich has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute. United Airlines isn’t the only Chicago area company impacted by the CrowdStrike outage. McDonald’s and and Metra also reported problems. Three Metra-Union Pacific routes had delays that the transit agency blamed on on the CrowdStrike outage. An update of the cybersecurity program took down systems being run on Microsoft computers and devices. It’s unclear how McDonald’s was impacted but it reportedly involved customer service.
