Sorry for your loss. But again, this is why cats should be kept indoors. I hope if he was abused by humans that are caught and prosecuted. Especially if they were children.

Aww... that's so sad. My beloved kitty had the same injury. I manually expressed his bladder and bowels for 8 years. He didn't get the paralysis they said he would but it was a serious commitment to manage the injury. After 8 years, he developed thyroid and other issues and at age 14 I let him go.
