North Spokane shooting suspect in custody, nearby home struck by gunfire. On July 30th, 2024 at 5:17pm Spokane Police responded to the area of 5100 N Crestline on a report of a shooting. 911 was advised that a male had fired a shotgun at another subject before leaving the area in a vehicle. 911 received multiple calls in regard to the incident as officers quickly responded. A female was contacted by law enforcement and she advised that a male had fired a shotgun at her. She was able to duck as the suspect fired in her direction. The suspect then drove away.
White Swan community targeted by scammers in aftermath of Slide Ranch Fire
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-Scammers are reportedly targeting the White Swan community in the aftermath of the Slide Ranch Fire that burned over 3,100 acres and 20 homes. According to Yakima County Fire District #5, scammers purporting to be with the district are contacting White Swan Residents and asking for personal information, saying they are helping with disaster relief related to the fire.
