Rep. Jamie Flick to host Human Services Expo with Speaker Series
Williamsport, Pa. — State Rep. Jamie Flick is extending an invitation to an annual Human Services Expo and Speaker Series on Thursday, Sept. 12 at Penn College. Police investigate theft from vehicles in Loyalsock Township
Loyalsock Township, Pa. — Police continue to investigate theft of items from vehicles on Country Club Drive in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Evan Llanso of PSP Montoursville says an unknown suspect stole items from several parked cars there the evening of June 12. Items stolen include credit cards and $400 cash. Anyone with information may contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.

Lehigh County teen dies in bonfire incident, coroner says
An Emmaus teen has died from burn-related injuries following a bonfire incident at a private residence, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. The coroner’s office identified the teen as 18-year-old Julian Diaz. He was pronounced dead shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township.

The song, “The Black Sheep,” finds Jeremy and his Project – bassist John DeLowery, drummer Ray Gieda and guest harmonica man Byron Winchester – digging deeper into traditional blues roots with nods to blues greats like Elmore James, Howlin Wolf, and Muddy Waters as well as a touch of George Thorogood and Ry Cooder. The video for the song features Jeremy and his gang portraying bootlegging gangsters in Prohibition-era America, as they are about to be double-crossed by a rival mob played by members of Williamsport roots rockers Cass and the Bailout Crew. Lewisburg Kiwanis Launches ‘Builders Club’ for Teens
LEWISBURG — One of the Valley’s service clubs hopes to recruit some young people. The Kiwanis Club of Buffalo Valley in Lewisburg, in partnership with the Public Library for Union County, is launching the Builders Club, a new service club for teens. The club is geared toward sixth through eighth graders from all local schools and homeschoolers in Lewisburg.
