FORT WALTON BEACH — EC Rider, Okaloosa County's public bus service, on Monday made changes to its Destin Route 30, hoping to enhance service between Fort Walton Beach and Destin.

The new service schedule for Destin Route 30 features hourly service linking several locations along the route. Those locations include Elder Service, Publix in Fort Walton Beach, Publix at Shoppes at Paradise Point, Target and Winn Dixie.

The route also now connects Destin to the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk, and Destin Route 30 connects to Okaloosa Route 20 at the top of the hour.
