HURLBURT FIELD — Residents near Hurlburt Field might hear explosions and feel vibrations on Thursday (Aug. 15) as The 823d RED HORSE Squadron conducts explosive demolition training.

Occurring between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Hurlburt Field Range, base officials say in a media advisory that these explosions will be felt throughout the day.

Base officials also say that if humidity is high or low cloud coverage is in the area, effects can seem louder on closer than on clear days.
