Two months into the fall prep season, we've had a wide selection of Athlete of the Week winners.

There's been a volleyball setter in South Walton's Carnley Summerlin, a quarterback in Baker's Kase Armstrong, a cross country runner in Fort Walton Beach's Belicia O'Grady, an offensive lineman in Niceville's Donovan Dark, Choctaw quarterback Carter Marracco, Niceville running back Eddie Love Jr., Niceville outside hitter in Ana Colon and Choctaw wide receiver/defensive back Dante Core.

The latest, Core, has been terrific in a dual role for the 6-2 Big Green, who are District 1-4A champions and ranked second in Region 1. Who'll follow Core's lead as the next Daily News Athlete of the Week? That's for you to decide. Voting runs through 2 p.m. Friday. Vote now, vote often.
