Aveanna Healthcare to open in Merrillville

Aveanna Healthcare, a home health agency with offices in 33 states, is expanding its services in Northwest Indiana.

The Atlanta-based health care agency recently signed a lease for an eight-story office building at 8585 Broadway in Merrillville.

Antony Miocic of Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial and Brian Edgerton of NAI Hiffman represented the landlord of the property.

“Aveanna Healthcare is a highly respected tenant, and we are confident that their presence will bring added value to the building and the local community,” Miocic said in a press release . “This is also the second lease signed at 8585 Broadway this month, and we have more prospects lined up for office space as well.”

By operating from this new location, Aveanna Healthcare aims to enhance their service delivery and optimize their operations.

Aveanna Healthcare has a network of more than 300 branch offices, providing care and services to over 40,000 children and adults. The company offers home health care, hospice and private duty nursing services. Aveanna Healthcare has three other locations in Indiana.

Latitude Commercial is a real estate brokerage firm. The firm provides commercial real estate services such as purchasing, leasing, landlord representation, tenant representation and commercial property management. Latitude Commercial serves Indiana and Illinois.
