The Boston Planning Department unanimously approved a proposal to renovate a stadium in Franklin Park in partnership with a new professional women’s soccer team. White Stadium, a historic venue that was built in 1945 near Franklin Park, will be used for about 20 soccer games each year and will otherwise be open to the public.
