    Juvenile arrested after 15-year-old shot in Norwalk

    NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in Norwalk on Saturday, July 13 after a 15-year-old was shot in the Roodner Court Public Housing Complex.

    According to a release, police received a call of shots fired at the complex shortly before 7 p.m. At the scene, officers receives information that a 15-year-old victim had been dropped off at Norwalk Hospital after suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

    Detectives conducted an investigation and found enough evidence to charge the 16-year-old with the shooting.

    The juvenile was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a pistol without a permit and illegal discharge of a firearm.

    The juvenile was sent to juvenile detention and the investigation is ongoing.
