RCPD to implement increased safety measures in Aggieville
Starting tonight, RCPD will restrict traffic in certain areas of Aggieville from 11:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and will be limited to Friday and Saturday nights. The affected streets are 12th Street (North from Laramie and South from the alley between Moro and Bluemont), and Moro Street (Manhattan Ave east through 11th Street.)

Franklin County teen arrested, given 9 charges after leading late-night police chase
LOUISBURG, Kan. (KCTV) - A 19-year-old was arrested and charged in Franklin County on Friday after he was involved in a police chase. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 10:52 p.m. on Aug. 30. Damon Estes of Osawatomie, Kansas, is accused of leading police on a chase down K-68 Highway, east of Louisburg, Kansas.
Mission apartments on burned-out bowling alley site now leasing with more in the works
Phase one of a downtown Mission apartment project is effectively completed, and developers’ and the city’s attention is now turning to the next phase. Sunflower Development Group’s Lanes at Mission Bowl, a 176-unit apartment complex on the site of a burned-out bowling alley, is moving in tenants this month.
