Man injured when tree falls, homes damaged in Raleigh and Garner during storms
Rain poured in a Garner family's home on Monday just a few days after a tree fell on their roof over the weekend. Crews spent hours on Monday removing a poplar tree from the roof of a townhouse near North Hills. Missing Gaston County woman found alive
A missing Gaston County woman was found alive beside the South Fork River with no memory of what happened to her, according to her family. Kelly Krueger, 38, had been missing since at least July 12 when she was found at 10:30 a.m. Saturday by a man who was collecting his dogs, said Krueger's niece, Jessica Mathews, in a text message. She was last seen leaving the home she shared with her father in Stanley without her phone, keys or wallet. She was reported missing several days after she left.
