26-Year-Old Charged With Stabbing Death of Mother in Herkimer
HERKIMER, N.Y. -- A Herkimer man is charged with stabbing his mother to death at the Stone Ridge Orchards apartments in Herkimer Thursday night. Herkimer Police say they received a third-party report of a possible homicide at the Protection Avenue complex around 11:30 Thursday night. Officers responding to the apartment were met by 26-year-old Jeremiah Moore, who allegedly made disturbing comments about his mother to officers. Officers checked the apartment and found the victim dead inside.
