    Planned obsolescence is a thing in every single tech business. It’s a proven business strategy. Apple will allow or make programs/apps much more powerful and content-rich so that you, as a consumer, will be FORCED to purchase newer phones with higher processing capacities. If you think this is not it, then you need to go back to wired phones and dial up internet. Buying an iPhone is like buying a lifetime subscription and contract with Apple. It’s just not on paper and an understood handcuff. You eithe stay with apple or you migrate to Samsung. Who else is there? LG? lol. It’s a legalized duo-monopoly. Wait until you find out it is nearly impossible to launch another carrier and do business with a carrier because they own ALL the national telecommunication tower licenses and our pseudo totalitarian government is not allotting or allowing them anymore.
