Beginning July 1, 2024, Carrie Freeman Parsons, chair of the board of Freeman Company, will serve as chair of the foundation’s board of directors for a second year, according to a statement released by TXWF. Cris Zertuche Wong, an executive at Goldman Sachs, has been named chair-elect of the Board. She will take over as chair on July 1, 2025, replacing Parsons.
