    Researchers decipher MIS-C, the scary illness that followed COVID in some kids

    In November 2019, my daughter developed a fever of 106. She began having seizures and her eyes rolled in the back of her head. It was the scariest thing I have ever had to endure. The ER doctors flushed her with fluids and Motrin and Tylenol and eventually the fever subsided. They tested her for everything possible and every test came back negative. They then informed us of one last test they could do. This test was what we now familiarly call the CoVid 19 test. She was released but we were told that she could go in to another febrile seizure if her temperature rises again. We were told that this is also referring to the future. On the trip home, she went in to a mini seizure. I put a cool rag on her head, shook her, and loudly called her name. She eventually came out of it
