Addison Wood, DO, performed Montrose (Colo.) Regional Health's first fully navigated prone lateral lumbar spine surgery, the hospital said July 19. Wildfire smoke from out of state has swept into the skies of Colorado, causing health hazards for people across the region. The smoke can even be seen from space, as seen in satellite imagery from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
