GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - This final full week of July is going to deliver another round of intense, July heat while cooling showers will be scarce at best. It took some clutch offense from Trey Alexander for the Nuggets to avoid a collapse in their Summer League finale, a 91-82 win over the Pelicans on Saturday in Las Vegas. Denver saw an early 23-point lead dissolve in the final minutes. Then, Alexander scored or assisted 10 of Denver’s final 16 points.
