Celebrate National Cheesecake Day with The Bakery at Violante's in Nutley This Tuesday

NUTLEY, NJ - Some holidays are traditional, some are festive, and this week, the holiday is downright cheesy - Tuesday is National Cheesecake Day and the celebration is coming to Nutley.

Cheesecake, or some version of it, is believed to have first been created in Ancient Greece. In the American Experience, the most traditional cheesecake consists starts with fresh cream cheese, eggs, flavorings like vanilla, and a graham cracker crust. Over the course of time, the basic cheesecake has evolved with various flavorings, toppings, and crusts.

This Tuesday, the Bakery at Violante's is inviting everyone to join the celebration with 15% off any cheesecake.

Known as "Violante's Meat Market," many in town forget that the bakers from Vitiello's work the ovens upstairs to fill the bakery's case every day.

Violante's is located at 105 Franklin Ave. Nutley, at the corner of Harrison St.
