GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A seat is being filled on the Alachua County court after Governor DeSantis appointed a University of Florida graduate to the position. UF graduate Adam Lee will be taking over the seat left behind by Judge Walter Green. Judge Green retired in December and died in March.

Marquavious Owens will play football and compete in weightlifting at Mars Hill, Justice Leggett is Warner Bound for weightlifting, Ja’Darius Cherry is set to play football at Allen University, and you’ll find PJ Davis on the baseball diamond at LaGrange. Florida man allegedly stole from Dallas funeral home, Georgia police say
DALLAS, Ga. - Police in Dallas are looking for a Florida man they believe stole a medical stretcher from one of the funeral homes in Dallas. Dallas police officers responded to a vehicle break-in on May 6 at 309 Hardee Street, the location of Benson’s Funeral Home. During the investigation, officers discovered that a medical stretcher had been stolen from one of the funeral home’s vehicles.
