Union Depot Seeking 2024 ‘Hub for the Holidays’ Tree

The first exclusion was at my local community center at Palace Recreation Center. The 46-year-old man killed in north Minneapolis has been identified
TaVaughn LaMarr Combs, aged 46, has been identified as the victim of the homicide that occurred in Minneapolis on Friday. At around 7:40 a.m., Minneapolis PD received a call and found Combs deceased at the 2100 block of Thomas Ave North. He was discovered five hours after a ShotSpotter had been activated in the area of 21st Ave North and Uptown Ave North.
North Minneapolis nonprofit Appetite for Change publishes cookbook
After a hard day at work, what Princess Titus wanted most was to “feed her heart,” which, at the time, craved fried chicken and hot sauce. Titus, senior engagement officer and one of three co-founders of Appetite for Change, a north Minneapolis organization centered on food and urban agriculture, was set to meet that night to cook with members of AFC’s youth program. But when they met, she told them there had been a change of plans. Instead of cooking food together, Titus told them to take her credit card and “go across the street and get 50 wings from Hooks.”
Minneapolis Man Pleads Guilty to 2022 Salon Bombing
A Minneapolis man has entered a guilty plea for the bombing of a Minneapolis hair salon, according to an announcement from United States Attorney Andrew M. Luger. Michael Allen Francisco, 59, admitted to using explosives in a malicious attack on the salon, which took place in the early hours of November 20, 2022.
