Why KU football players are 'excited' to play games on grass this fall
For the first time in a very long time, the Kansas football program will play more than half of its games on grass. The Jayhawks are set to play eight of their 12 regular-season games on grass surfaces this season. Between home games at Children's Mercy Park and Arrowhead Stadium, all six of KU's home contests will be played on grass. But, road games at Arizona State and BYU will also be played on grass.
