In a turn of events connected to a recent homicide, Moyasar Osman Mohamed-Ahmed has been taken into custody following his voluntary surrender to law enforcement officials. On the afternoon of Monday, July 1, Mohamed-Ahmed contacted a deputy from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, inciting the arrest under a standing murder warrant. The Portland Police Bureau was subsequently alerted, leading to Mohamed-Ahmed’s detainment at the Multnomah County Detention Center on a charge of Murder in the Second Degree, as it relates to the death of Sean K. Smeeden.

PORTLAND, OR – July 2, 2024 – The Portland branch of CityTeam today announced it has acquired the Overland Building in the city’s Old Town district and will relocate its headquarters there, according to CityTeam Portland Executive Director Lance Orton.
