    Man faces felony charges after burglary in Fayette County

    MOUNT HOPE, WV (WVNS) — An Oak Hill man faces felony charges in Fayette County after a burglary in Mount Hope.

    30-year-old Justin R. Craigo, of Oak Hill, was charged with the felony offense of Burglary.

    Three people arrested after kidnapping and robbery in Summers County

    Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a burglary in the Mount Hope area of Fayette County on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

    The victim told deputies during the investigation that when he went home that evening he saw Craigo leaving his house. While leaving the house, Craigo told the victim that he left him a present.

    Deputies were then told by the victim that Craigo did not have permission to be inside the house. When the victim went inside, he found his bed and the surrounding area soaked in what he believed to be urine.

    Residents warned about phone scams by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office

    Craigo was arrested on Monday, July 29, 2024 during a traffic stop due to the warrants out for his arrest.

    The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office stated that all defendants are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law, and that criminal complaints are only documents that allege a criminal charge.
