Police: Woman rammed Morganton patrol car, led officers on chase
MORGANTON, N.C. (WBTV) - A Lexington woman is in jail after ramming a patrol car, damaging a citizen’s car and leading officers on a short chase Saturday night. According to the Morganton Department of Public Safety, officers were called to Toner’s Pub in downtown Morganton around 11:30 p.m. to investigate a hit and run involving property damage.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Central Carolina Fair is returning for it's 125th year at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex! The annual fair features, rides, food, games, and more for the family! It opens August 30 and runs through September 15. Advance tickets are $25 and include admission AND an unlimited ride wristband - except for on Dollar Days and the fair's last day. A free online public charter school opened its virtual doors this week with remote classes starting for students in kindergarten through 11th grade.
