The Lexington Book Festival is gearing up for a 3rd year
After celebrating a very successful 2nd year, the Lexington Book Festival is preparing for the 3rd Annual Lexington Book Festival, which is scheduled for March 22, 2025. Last year the streets of Uptown Lexington were filled with book lovers that packed the galleries of Arts Davidson County located at 202 North Main Street eager to see some of their favorite authors. From the meet and greet at Bull City Ciderworks hosted by media sponsor, Davidson Local to the on stage discussions with authors. The Lexington Book Festival was a weekend of enjoyment. The 2nd Annual Lexington book Festival welcomed twenty authors including Crystal Smith Paul, Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle, Alan Gratz, Jo Hackl, Charlie Lovett, Amber Smith and Ed Southern. An estimated 500 attendees enjoyed the panels and all of the events.

New Amazon facility opens in Fayetteville
The giant new Amazon Fulfillment Center near Fort Liberty is starting to show signs of life.
