Families: Apply Your Eligible Child for Prekindergarten for 3-Year-Olds
Aldine ISD is now offering a free, half-day PreK3 program for eligible 3-year-olds at all 12 Aldine ISD primary schools. In spring 2024, Aldine ISD announced that it would expand its prekindergarten for 3-year-olds (PreK3) to all 12 preschools starting this fall. The district’s PreK3 is a half-day program.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Thieves were allegedly caught in Houston last weekend after stealing roofing material from houses in South College Station. Owner of Aggieland Exteriors, Tim Gafford, told KBTX he noticed his materials were stolen three separate times in the past few months off home construction sites in Southern Pointe subdivision off Highway 6 in South College Station.

The San Jacinto River Authority shared Lake Conroe’s Status as of Tuesday, July 24, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. Due to the line of storms moving their way through the Lake Conroe Watershed today, the current level of Lake Conroe is 201.49 feet above mean sea level (msl) with an outflow rate of 2,660 cubic feet per second (cfs). FM-1097 bridge over Atkins Creek 'collapsed further' after heavy rain washed road away
If you frequently drive on FM-1097, just east of the city of Montgomery, heads up. A portion of the road over Atkins Creek was washed out during Tuesday's heavy rains, and according to officials, the bridge has collapsed even further.Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough shared photos of the damage on social media Wednesday morning.
