Charlotte Douglas International Airport Reports Major Departure And Arrival Delays
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Douglas International airport is reporting heavy departure and arrivals delays due to weather conditions. According the airports tracker, Traffic is experiencing gate hold and taxi delays lasting 15 minutes or less. Arrival traffic is also experiencing airborne delays of 15 minutes or less.

Charlotte's LUESA Office Goes Remote for Tuesday Maintenance, In-Person Services to Resume Wednesday
Due to a scheduled maintenance on the water main, the Mecklenburg County's Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) office will be temporarily shifting gears to remote work this Tuesday, July 23, 2024. According to an announcement made on the county's official news site, the LUESA office at 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC will not be available for in-person services on that day. The Mecklenburg County website provided says, "Online and remote LUESA staff will continue to work." Repairs are expected to wrap up within the day, aiming for regular operations to resume by Wednesday.
