    Shooting during Oakland robbery injures 3 people

    ( KRON ) — Three people in Oakland were injured Monday in a shooting that stemmed from an armed robbery, the Oakland Police Department said Wednesday.

    At around 9 p.m. on the 1200 block of Harrison Street, a man was approached by several individuals, including one that was armed with a gun, police said. The armed suspect demanded the man's belongings, and during the altercation, discharged the weapon. The group of suspects left the scene in a vehicle.

    Responding police located one man with a gunshot wound and another with minor scratches, OPD said. The victim who was shot was transported to a hospital by paramedics. A third victim later turned up at an area hospital by private transportation.

    Three killed in shooting at Alameda home, other victims injured

    The two hospitalized victims were listed in stable condition, police said.

    At the scene of the shooting, Oakland officers found bullet casings and recovered a loaded firearm.

    No arrests have been announced by police.

    I'm black and frankly ashamed of how hard people worked and sacrificed so we, that is black people can fully participate in society. Yet there are those who continue to bring shame upon those who paved the way.😔
