( KRON ) – The suspected shooter of an Oakland freeway shooting was arrested, according to California Highway Patrol.

Around 6 p.m. on June 16, CHP was alerted of a freeway shooting eastbound on Highway 24 at the Acalanes Road off-ramp.  According to CHP, the victim informed detectives before the shooting that he and another vehicle crashed after a road rage incident. The suspect then began shooting at the victim’s vehicle and fled the area.

With the vehicle information received from the victim, the suspect was identified as 30-year-old Oakland resident Aaron Demetrius Davis Jr.
