    Oakland B's announce staff restructure, manager fired

    ( KRON ) – The new minor league baseball team, the Oakland Ballers, announced staff changes in the inaugural season.

    On Sunday, the Ballers released a statement on X informing the public that first-time coach Micah Franklin was "relieved of his duties as manager."

    "We would like to thank Micah for his efforts and we wish him success in all his future endeavors," the post stated.

    The post also announced Aaron Miles was appointed the interim manager. Miles, an Antioch is a World Series champion, winning with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006.

    Oakland Tech graduate James Harris is set to join the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Harris was also once a St. Louis Cardinal for a season in 1997.

    The Ballers are currently 29-25 and fourth in the Pioneer League.
