Farmington Hills Gets $140,000 Grant for LED Lighting at Fire Station. (City of Farmington Hills, Aug. 22, 2024) Farmington Hills, MI- The City of Farmington Hills has been awarded an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) of over $140,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy. This grant will support the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance energy efficiency and conservation by funding the installation of light emitting diode (LED) lighting at Fire Station #4, located at 28711 Drake Road.
