The cost for filling a gas tank has gone up in the last week. Michigan gas prices have risen since last week by ten cents a gallon on average, according to AAA. In Detroit, a gallon of gas costs on average $3.64. That's 11 cents more expensive than last week and 14 cents more expensive than the national average. For 15 gallons — a full tank for many — that works out to about $55.
