Becky Jo Pierce Obituary

Becky Jo Pierce, the daughter of Charles Wynn and Dona Joan (Campbell) Pierce, was born August 22, 1955, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. Becky died July 15, 2024, at her home in Oakland, IA, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

Becky attended school in Oakland, graduating from Oakland High School with the class of 1974. She worked for Iowa Fittings and retired from there in 2018. She also clerked for Pierce Auction for many years.

She loved riding horses and was in a women’s horse group called “Wild Women of the West”. She enjoyed cross stitching and was a great piano player.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her nephews Abe and Jordan.

She is survived by her children: Carey Boot, Randi Henderson and husband Wes, Jamie Stephens, and Corey Stephens; ten grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings: Terry Pierce and wife Deb, Jerry Pierce and wife Suzanne; and Tami Skank and husband Sid; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; and her significant other Jim.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is assisting the family.
