Tan DaGod’s Friends Claim She Was “Targeted” In Beauty Store Shooting

Tan DanGod’s friends assert that the late rapper was “targeted” in the shooting that claimed her life. KTVU Fox 2 reported on several key witnesses who were present for the shooting at the Glamor Beauty Supply, with some of the people recalling what transpired.

“ Everybody like ducked and hid behind the cars,” Sul Cho, a Korean BBQ restaurant employee, stated. “[Tan DaGod] was performing there, and this guy with a hood just walked in through that gate and started shooting… He was targeting her only, ’cause I saw it. He wasn’t shooting at everybody, he was just shooting at her.”

The outlet interviewed another man named Vincent who worked at a nearby doughnut shop. He admitted that he thought the gunshots were a part of the performance until he heard the rapper, né Alliauna Green, yell out.

“I hear some shots, and I thought the shots were part of the music, the performance, then I heard three really loud shots,” Vincent said. “I think the rapper was screaming, ‘I’m hit, I’m hit,’ and she was just laying on the ground until medics came.”

And although the witnesses state that Green was targeted, Oakland Police stated that one other person was shot. Their injuries weren’t fatal, and they are expected to recover.

Tan DaGod dropped a music video and song called “That’s My Ex Pack” in September 2023. The song found the rapper heavily implying that she had something to do with the death of her ex-boyfriend. However, her family stated that the song was simply “a diss track for clout.”

Mistah F.A.B., who was supposed to appear at the store alongside Tan, expressed his condolences for the rising star.

“The violence is beyond understanding the hurt the pain the trauma has made a forever lasting impact @tan.dagod I will always remember you as a hustling ass go getter, with a world of ambition,drive and courage and a heart big as TEXAS!!!! I love you lil sis and told you on several occasions sad to see this happen!!! They had me booked to be there with you but GOD had different plans,” he typed on Instagram.
