AJ Jones Solid With Boise State Commitment
Everyone has moments in their life that they can look back on and say, "that changed everything." For me it was becoming a father. For Vista Murrieta High School wideout AJ Jones, his might be his high school's college showcase. That is where he met BSU wide receivers coach Matt Miller for the first time. From that college showcase AJ got invited to The Redlands football camp. The Broncos wanted to see more of him. He walked away from that camp with a Boise State offer to which he is now committed. So, you could say it went well for the Murrieta, California native.

Bear relocated in Salmon, as problems with bird feeders, garbage, pet food persist
MISSOULA, Montana — Bear conflicts are on the rise in more towns, including Salmon, Idaho, south of Sula. Game wardens trapped and relocated a black bear yesterday. They warn, more and more bears are coming into city limits pretty regularly for easy food sources, like bird feeders, unsecured garbage and pet food. Idaho Fish and Game says it will likely have to move bears every year now, and encourages everybody to secure attractants, both for people's and the bears' wellbeing.

Blogger ordered to pay $25K in costs for defamation case
COEUR d’ALENE — A Post Falls blogger found liable for defamation must pay about $25,000 in costs associated with the case, in addition to the $1.1 million judgment. In May, a Kootenai County jury unanimously found that Summer Bushnell defamed Post Falls resident Eric Posey when she falsely accused him of exposing himself during Pride in the Park 2022.
Idaho Water Users Continue to Negotiate Water Agreement Terms
Pocatello, ID – Senior water right and junior water right users are continuing to negotiate agreement terms and an improved mitigation plan for Idaho’s water users. Farmers and irrigators from the Surface Water Coalition and Idaho Ground Water Association most recently met in Pocatello to resume discussions for a groundwater management plan that will recharge the Eastern Snake River Plain Aquifer, ensure a sustainable water supply for the state’s agriculture industry, and protect private property rights.
