USACE Announces Active Logging at Dworshak’s Dent Recreation Area
AHSAHKA - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is overseeing logging operations at Dworshak Dam and Reservoir’s Dent Recreation Area. With as many as 25 logging trucks entering and leaving the area daily, visitors utilizing the boat ramp at Dent Recreation Area are advised to go slow and be aware of their surroundings. Those with access to a CB radio can utilize it to monitor logging trucks announcing their arrivals and departures. The appropriate CB channel will be posted on the road into Dent.

Post Falls blogger ordered to pay $25K in costs for defamation case
A Post Falls blogger found liable for defamation must pay about $25,000 in costs associated with the case, in addition to the $1.1 million judgment. In May, a Kootenai County jury unanimously found that Summer Bushnell defamed Post Falls resident Eric Posey when she falsely accused him of exposing himself during Pride in the Park 2022.
