Former Daybell property to become healing space honoring victims
Boise, ID (CBS2) — A benefactor aims to turn tragedy into a space for healing after purchasing the property formerly owned by Chad Daybell. The property that Chad Daybell formerly owned and that was where the bodies of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow were found, was deeded to Daybell's former attorney, John Prior, to pay for Daybell's legal fees after he was convicted of triple murder and sentenced to death.
Paddock fire grows to 153,600 acres, crews brace for challenging weather
Emmett, ID (CBS2) — The Paddock fire is currently at 153,600 acres as of Saturday morning. Crews are expecting a mostly cloudy day with highs between 81 and 95 degrees with winds up to 30 miles per hour and possible rain showers due to an upper-level trough passing through the area.
Post Falls structure fire contained by Kootenai County firefighters
POST FALLS, Idaho—The Kootenai County Fire Department successfully contained a structure fire in central Post Falls. According to the Kootenai County Fire Department, the fire started in a building in central Post Falls. When crews arrived, the fire was heavily engulfing the structure. However, they have managed to contain the blaze to one shop building.
