A Fatal Weekend of Accidents on Idaho Highways
Idaho State Police has posted information related to fatal accidents on Idaho highways over the weekend. On Sunday, August 11, 2024, a tragic accident occurred on State Highway 3 in Kootenai County, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old male from Cataldo, Idaho. The crash happened at approximately 5:33 PM near milepost 113.2, five miles south of Interstate 90.

Idaho receives $1.4 million federal funding for bridge restoration, replacement projects
BOISE - The federal government’s Bridge Investment Program will look to improve three bridges in Idaho. The funding comes from the Biden Administration’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, passed in 2021, that is dedicated to addressing ongoing infrastructure issues throughout the United States. In addition to addressing roads and bridges, the legislation is dedicated to a number of infrastructure causes including investing in public transit and passenger rail, upgrading airports, providing wider access to high-speed internet and moving to clean energy solutions.
